Day husky safari at Syöte
We will prepare at the husky farm, where we will learn about dog sleds and receive driving instructions. Then we set off on the safari, two people per team. The route runs through the beautiful Syöte National Park and snow-covered forests. During the safari, we stop to enjoy a picnic lunch. The route is approximately 20-30 km long.

Husky safari at Syöte 12 km

Husky safari 6 km
On this husky safari each adult gets to steer their own sled pulled by 4 beautiful Siberian huskies. Kids (under the age 14) are tucked safely into a sled driven by the guide, as you let the dogs take you into the magical forest. The program is entry level, prior experience is not needed. The program is approximately 2 hours, including the instructions, preparing the team, 6 km ride on the forest trails, hydration of the dogs as well as the customers, snow for the dogs, hot drink of coffee or chocolate for humans!

Husky safari 10 km
On this husky safari each adult gets to steer their own sled pulled by 4 beautiful Siberian huskies. Experience an exciting husky safari! On this safari, each adult (over 14 years old) drives their own four-dog sledge on a forest trail. No previous experience is required. Younger children can sit in the guide’s sledge. The program includes guidance, team preparation, touring the trail, and hydration for dogs and customers – snow for dogs, hot coffee or cocoa for customers.

Snowmobile safaris day/evening
It’s easy to go on a guided safari, also suitable for beginner snowmobilers. The driving route goes through the snowy forest in the fell country.
Getting equipped at the LumiAreena, where we are introduced to the snowmobiles and given driving instructions. Then we go on a 10-20 km long safari where we enjoy a warming drink during the break.- Duration: approx. 2-3 hours

Relaxing nature trip through the forest at 15:00
For us Finns, nature and forests are a part of our identity and where we feel safe. The program, held in the pristine environment of Syöte National Park, is suitable for forgetting busy work schedules, stressful thoughts and work worries. The aim of the program is to strengthen the experience of being present and living in the moment with the exercises of the Forestmind method. You don’t need any previous experience, just come along to relax! Nice places for a soothing nature trip in Syöte National Park are, for example, the Naavaparta trail, Teerivaara or Soiperoinen. Snowmobile and husky safari
Combine snowmobile and husky safari on the same trip. The safari begins with a husky safari, where you ride a 6 km forest trail with dog sledges. After the ride, you will enjoy lunch. After lunch, you will ride a snowmobile, where you can enjoy snowy landscapes through forests and over lakes. It is easy to join a guided safari, also suitable for beginner sledders.

Northern lights hunting by car at 20:00
On the northern lights trip, we drive away from the village lights, to the best northern lights viewing spots. If we’re lucky, we’ll get to admire the starry sky and witness the northern lights blazing. During the trip, the guide will tell you about the aurora as a phenomenon and related stories. At a suitable point in the trip, we enjoy hot juice and snacks.
- Pick-up locations: Hotel Iso-Syöte (Isosyötteentie) at 7:45 p.m., Syöte Booking Centre (Romekievarintie 2) at 8:00 p.m.
