For schoolchildren we offer camps of different durations, as well as sports days and downhill skiing days, which are especially popular during springtime.
For (conference) groups we arrange the perfect packages according to every group’s specific needs.
For travelers Hotel Pikku-Syöte offers packages for every need and it even has its own school for the school aged children, so that it’s possible to be on holiday outside of holiday season without children missing school.
The Ski Center and the slopes serve skiers of all skillsets, and especially families and amateur skiers have been considered when creating our services.

At Pikku-Syöte there is a vast array of activities to choose from. There are things to do and experience for everyone e.g. for the family adventurers there is rock climbing and an observatory for the astronomy-enthusiasts. The hotel also has many different recreational spaces where families can spend time together between outdoor activities.


Pikku-Syöte is 386 meters high and the longest slope is 1100 meters. During the winters there are 9 different slopes to choose from and there are fantastic routes for cross-country skiing amidst the arctic hills. Pikku-Syöte is a safe, family friendly ski resort and tends to downhill and cross-country skiers of all skillsets.
The Syöte area is ideal for snowshoeing. At Hotel Pikku-Syöte, from the top of the fell you can enjoy spectacular views.

The Syöte area is also an ideal place to do mountain biking. There are over 70 kilometers of marked mountain bike routes. At the beginning of a biking trip the basic techniques of mountain biking and the basic features of the bikes are revised. There are routes to suit the condition and fitness of every biker. Ascending even the steepest hills will bring a smile on your face once you see the grandeur of the surrounding arctic hills from atop.

Learn the techniques of disc golf at either the Pikku-Syöte or the Nature Center courses. Pikku-Syöte has two 9 basket Disc Golf courses. Disc golf is a popular and cheap hobby. Disc golf can be played on one’s own time or it can be arranged as a guided activity. With a guide the right throw techniques and the use of different discs are practiced and the rules of the game are learned. Disc golf is a fun pastime!

Wall climbing trains strength, flexibility and courage. Wall climbing has evolved from rock climbing. The indoor wall at Pikku-Syöte is 7 meters high and is suitable for climbers from 5 years of age upwards. There are three levels from easy to difficult. The instructors are professionals trained by the Finnish Climbing association.
